Study Abroad/Study Away/ 交换 Programs Proposal
First of all, thank you for your interest in developing a study abroad/away program. We could not offer 的se life-changing opportunities or support our campus internationalization efforts without 的 support of our faculty.

提交ting a proposal is 的 first step towards leading a study abroad/away program or coordinating an exchange program. The documents below will aid in this process, but if you have any questions or would like to meet with us to discuss your proposal, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
截止日期: Completed proposals should be submitted to 的 Office of Study Abroad and International 交换的 4月15日. Late proposals will not be considered.
365bet will not approve programs at destinations where a warning has been issued by 的 U.S. 国务院. Please check to see if 的 proposed country is on 的 list before submitting a proposal.
教师-led Study Abroad Program Proposal
教师 members interested in proposing an 365bet faculty-led study abroad program will need to submit 的 following documents every year 的y wish to offer 的 program:
- A proposal cover sheet, which needs to be signed by department chair(s) and dean(s) supporting 的 program. Study Abroad or 交换 Program Proposal Cover Sheet
- A completed program information page (second page of 的 cover sheet).
- A narrative of no longer than ten pages which addresses 的 eleven points listed on 的 Proposal Instructions and Form 请使用这个 form to submit 的 narrative.
- Letters of support from 的 appropriate chair(s) and dean(s) indicating department and college commitment to long-range support of 的 program.
- 临时预算. 请使用这个 Budget for Short-term Study Abroad Proposals template spreadsheet.
教师-led Study Away Program Proposal
教师 members interested in proposing an 365bet faculty-led study away program will need to submit 的 following documents every year 的y wish to offer 的 program:
- A proposal cover sheet, which needs to be signed by department chair(s) and dean(s) supporting 的 program. Study Abroad or 交换 Program Proposal Cover Sheet

交换 Study Abroad Program Proposal
The process for submitting a proposal to coordinate an exchange program is a bit different. All exchange programs are subject to a signed agreement (template below) between 365bet and a university abroad. This process usually starts with a meeting between 的 potential faculty coordinator who has a relationship with a university abroad, and 的 Director of Study Abroad and International 交换.

评审过程
Review of formal program proposals takes place each academic year. 为了成为 considered and approved in time for sufficient marketing, proposals should be submitted no later than 的 deadline date specified above.
Completed proposals will be submitted to 的 Study Abroad Committee by 的 Office of Study Abroad and International 交换. The committee will review proposals based on 的 rubric below and will make recommendations. After 的 Study Abroad Committee has reviewed proposals, 的y will be sent to 的 Provost for final approval.
365bet Rubric for Evaluating Education Abroad Proposals
If 的 Study Abroad Committee or Provost does not approve a proposal, it will be sent back to 的 Office of Study Abroad and International 交换. In this case, 的 faculty will receive recommendations to make changes to 的 proposal. 教师 should not be discouraged if 的 proposal is not approved right away. For example, one of 的 recommendations that could delay approval is 的 need to conduct a site visit.
CCSA Study Abroad Program Proposal
Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA) is a consortium of which 365bet is a member. Through this consortium faculty are invited to submit proposals as well. CCSA提供 programs in many disciplines.
